How To Get Government Personal Loans

Written By: admin - Feb• 12•13

Can You Really Get Government Personal Loans If You Have Bad Credit?

There is a myth out there that somehow, you can get a personal loan from the government if you have bad credit. This is simply not true, at least not entirely true…

Many people in America end up screwing up their credit, whether it be due to poor spending habits, financial emergencies, a long string of bad luck, business debt from a deal gone bad, etc. They end up with their back against the wall, either turning to credit counselors, or even worse, facing bankruptcy.

When financial problems arise, who do you turn to?

Let’s be honest, if you were facing serious financial strife, you’d probably turn to a close friend or family member for help. If neither of those options would help you out, you could seek the help of secondary lending institutions.

Beware of the scammers!

Even though there is no such thing as a government personal loan, there are plenty of people that will try to tell you and sell you on some.

The truth:

The truth of the matter is that the government only gives loans for a few things; disaster relief, small businesses, student loans, and home loans. Now, I understand that some of those could be considered “personal loans” as well. However, the types of loans I listed probably aren’t the kind that come to mind at first, especially if you’re looking for some quick funding for something else, which is where the scam artists thrive.
